What Is CBD Oil?

CBD oil comes from hemp leaves and flowers of the Cannabis sativa plant.

CBD stands for cannabidiol. Cannabidiol is one of the most popular components of the cannabis plant.

CBD Oil Versus Hemp Seed Oil Texture

It’s a light oil that absorbs quickly. Hemp Seed Oil is thicker, heavier, and greasier, more like Olive or Avocado Oil. Hemp seed oil only contains trace amounts of cannabidiol.

CBD Oil Skincare Uses

CBD is an excellent antioxidant. It is great for skin and hair. It contains many nutrients. CBD Oil is rich in Omega fatty acids. It also contains Vitamins A, E, and D.

While Hemp oil is useful, it isn’t as effective as cannabidiol-rich CBD. CBD oil has many anti-aging and skin restorative benefits. CBD can treat:

  • Acne
  • Chronic dryness
  • Dryness
  • Eczema
  • Excess sebum
  • Inflammation
  • Skin sensitivity
  • Skin dullness
  • Skin redness or irritation
  • Wrinkles

Hemp Oil Skincare Uses

Hemp Oil is also known as Hemp Seed Oil. It comes from the seeds of the Cannabis sativa plant.

Hemp contains many of the rich fatty acids, but not the actual compounds of the Cannabis sativa plant. It has very little cannabidiol or other of beneficial Cannabis sativa compounds.

Hemp Seed Oil contains essential amino acids, omega-3, omega-6, omega-9, Vitamin E, and minerals. These offer a soothing and moisturizing effect on hair and skin. Hemp Seed Oil is less useful for reversing signs of aging but helpful in keeping skin soft and supple.
